Fedics realises that Christmas is a time for giving and once again became involved in 94.7 Highveld Stereo’s Christmas Wish initiative, which allows listeners to write in and tell 94.7 of those people they think deserve a break, and gives others the opportunity to make those wishes come true.
One of the wishes concerned Segametsi’s dream to send her son Luvuyo to the World Junior Karate Championships in Japan this year. This wish was so special that listeners contacted the radio station to see if they couldn’t do even more for Luvuyo. One of those listeners was Clive Smith CEO of Fedics who called the radio station to offer to pay for Segametsi to travel with her son to Tokyo. Fedics’ generosity didn’t end there. The company sponsored the Firemen’s Year-End Function and in addition, took care of all the catering requirements for the final day of the Christmas Wish List – a day on which all the participants are hosted by the radio station at Primedia House in Sandton.
